Designed by Hubero Kororo | Country: Czech Republic
This is absolutely amazing. Be sure to read the full description and watch the video below.
“Uceroz is a new music brand by Ivan Palacký, a musician playing an amplified knitting machine called Dopleta 160 (180). The title “Uceroz” is an abbreviation created from two Czech words : „učesán a rozcuchán“. It consists of two editions, where „učesán“ represents a smoother kind of musical expressiveness however „rozcuchán“ tends to be more experimental.
The first set of 5 CDs is published in „rozcuchán“ edition. The design of the cover also reflects this motif. Like when you are listening to this piece of music for the first time being still untouched by the unique experience of Ivan Palacky´s peculiar performance, also the album cover makes you feel like that. After opening (tearing off the seal), the outer minimalistic graphic of the snow-white package is irretrievably disturbed by a stain, which turns to the colour of the inner content.
The graphic form of the edition is always constant, just the colours vary. Depending on the technique of opening, (some extreme technics of opening have already been noticed, like using a drill in order to create a peculiar mark.) some patterns arise, which give each piece a certain uniqueness. The inner mechanism is an authentic construction by Hubero Kororo. The set is always limited, it consist of 60 pieces.”

noneThe Swatch watch has recently made a comeback into my life via my husband and his friend. They search high and low for the coolest Swatch watches on the market and have amassed an impressive collection. So I’m sure they’ll be happy to hear that Colette is feeding their obsession, at least for a few weeks. Now through February 15, 2010, Swatch has released the Color Codes collection (20 clean, solid color designs) and six new Swatch Art Watches — designed by David Benedek, Gary Card, and Carrie Munden — to be sold exclusively at the Parisian boutique. If you can’t make it to Paris, no worries! Colette is featuring the collection through its Web site, too.

David Chipperfield Architects have completed an extension to the Museum Folkwang in Essen, Germany. (more…)
